Mike Smith - Director of College and Pro Level Exposure

My approach to coaching is simple in that I want my players to get two things out of their participation with our club.  I want them to work hard to improve as players and I want them to enjoy and love playing the game.  To me one without the other is pointless.  I coach high school age players so everything I do on the field is geared towards preparing players to be recruited by college coaches.  Our goal is to use practices and games during the season to develop players so that when those players get in front of college coaches in showcases they display a high level of technical and tactical ability as well as competitive drive, intelligence and character.
